Members of the Silent Protocol team were in Istanbul for Devconnect and ETH Istanbul. The team participated in ETH Gunu and also hosted an event where the focus was privacy and infrastructure for the next stage of growth.

Silent Panel — Privacy & Onchain data, best friends forever?

In the first panel we discussed privacy and onchain data together with the CEO of Aleo (Alex) and Flipside represented by Charlie and Kathie. From Silent we had co founder Isa.

To summarize the first panel it was discussed why both privacy and transparency is important in web3, and how they can coexist within the blockchain system. Further we discussed if we’re moving toward a more or less transparent future for web3 users and what the latest technological advancements in the privacy space are, eg. AI and machine learning.

Silent Panel — Infrastructure for the next stage of growth in web3

In the second panel we discussed what are the infrastructure components that we need to build in order to bring in the next wave of retail and institutional adoption. We focused on security, privacy and interchain.

There were some massive hints and finally we also discussed Silent’s privacy framework EZEE, which you can read about from here: EZEE part A & EZEE part B.
